Born from the union of the three iconic indigenous white grape varieties of Valle d’Itria: 60% Verdeca, 35% Bianco d'Alessano and 5% Minutolo.

Antico is a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) white wine produced in this area for thousands of years. As the name suggests, it is vinified according to tradition: the training system is the Gobelet method, the three varieties of grapes are combined in the preset quantities since the planting, then they are harvested, destemmed and vinified all at once following the most modern oenological techniques.

It is a very ancient technique that requires great experience because the grapes are harvested all together even though they have different ripening periods; this allows to obtain an extraordinarily balanced wine. Antico displays a straw yellow color with pale greenish glints; fruit aromas but dry, full taste and persistent. Meant to be drunk young, excellent as an aperitif, pairs well with fish, shellfish and seafood dishes.
